BambooSK8 is the leading eco-friendly skateboard company and strives to not only promote sustainability, but also strives to inspire other companies to become more environmentally conscious.
Days after Osama Bin Laden was taken care of by US Navy SEALs (an elite military unit), Disney (who markets to young children) was quick on its feet to trademark the term “SEAL Team 6″ in an effort to market future toys, movies, and games to children. It didn’t take too long for Disney to realize the error it committed and has “surrendered” the trademark back to the Navy.
The fundamentals behind copyright laws are sound. They are meant to reward people and foster a system that inspires innovation. Otherwise, ...

Before airport security became so stringent, it was a common event to see someone welcomed at the airport by family or friends with cheers and signs. Today, not so much.
Now, image the surprise of being greeted by a 90-piece orchestra as you arrive at your destination. Recent travelers at The Miami International Airport got that kind of special welcomed by a live performance of The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO).
The performance was part of the orchestra’s Music in Unsuspected Spaces program and cost about $40,000

For two hours, the 90-piece ...

For the record: No. NoiseAddicts does not have a high regard for the music video by Rebecca Black. It should have been painfully obvious from the short piece, but somehow people thought we were serious. Nothing against the girl, of course.
We also don’t subscribe to feeling sorry for Rebecca Black. According to Forbes, the song was at #45 on the iTunes Top Singles chart and sold 37,000 copies in the first week. Apparently she paid $2,000 to have the music video made. Not a bad return on her investment.

As part of our efforts to bring you high quality, as-of-yet undiscovered musical talents, we bring you a video by music sensation Rebecca Black. The vocals on this girl are amazing. She has a very unique voice. If you have ever wanted to “party on the weekend” you will LOVE this song. The lyrics are classic and I would be surprised if the songs doesn’t make it into the top 100 greatest songs ever.

Anyways, you have to see this to believe it.
Her music video is already at 5 million plus ...

Just when you thought that botching the National anthem was a new low for Christina Aguilera, she goes and gets arrested with boyfriend Matthew Rutler. He was busted for a DUI and she was taken for public intoxication (although she will not be prosecuted).
According to highly-credible sources (TMZ.com), Christina Aguilera was booked with a stature of 5’2″ and weight of 100 pounds. I never realized she’s that tiny. With that weight, it wouldn’t take much to get intoxicated.
I hope she takes cues from celebrity winners and ...

People are prone to fear and are suspicious of what they don’t understand. Same goes for having a non-native or foreign accent: it affects our perception of people. For example, since 9/11 a French accent carries with it a certain stigma about political views.

Hardly earth shattering news. In “Why Don’t We Believe Non-native Speakers? The Influence of Accent on Credibility,” author Shiri Lev-Ari makes the case that “Accent might reduce the credibility of non-native job seekers, eyewitnesses, reporters or people taking calls in foreign call centers.” Again this is mostly ...

If you enjoy the lyrics and songs by Rihanna, the answer has to be a resounding “YES”. Take her abusive relationship with Chris Brown in context and listen to her latest collaboration with Eminem.

In fact, the White House first installed solar panels back in 1979 by order of Jimmy Carter but were later removed by Ronald Reagan. It seems everywhere you look, everything and everyone is making a bid to alternative energy.

What can you be doing to help out?
How about simply going out clubbing. That’s right: Go out, listing to music and party.
