When it comes to naming themselves, bands can be inspired from the weirdest of things and places. Sometimes it is a dream, a drug or the urge to make fun of something. This is “Pork and Beans” from Weezer’s latest self-titled album, Weezer.  Unless you’ve been on a deserted island for the past 5 years, you’ll recognize almost all of the clips in the video.  I thought it was pure genius.
