Weezer’s internet viral parody

This is “Pork and Beans” from Weezer’s latest self-titled album, Weezer.  Unless you’ve been on a deserted island for the past 5 years, you’ll recognize almost all of the clips in the video.  I thought it was pure genius.

Music and internet geeks like me will love this. This pokes fun at all those viral YouTube videos that we all love, and somehow actually manages to get the real “internet celebrities” to perform with them.  Weezer’s just rolled up “pop-netroots” into one fascinating & funny video.

If you can’t pick out all the original viral videos, someone has put together a great handy montage….  Just try to pick out as many as you can before you cheat though !
