Ever wondered about hearing voices in your head? I’m sure that’s exactly what the military was aiming for when they originally started project MEDUSA or Mob Excess Deterrent Using Silent Audio. The original “telepathic ray gun” works by sending a weak microwave into someone’s head, emitting noises only the person in the wave’s path can hear.

Music is wired into our DNA

Isn’t it great how humans can sing or dance rhythmically to music? It’s a shame no other creature can…or can they? I think I just found my new wingman: a bird named Snowball.  He can dance, sing, and also has a pretty good taste in music. Digital Theater System Trumps State Budget

California legislators do not seem capable of managing the state budget and have issued IOUs (promissory notes) as it continues to face cash problems. Rest assured that politicians are working day and night to come up with solutions. Apparently, the Mayor of Augora Hills Denis Weber together with California State Assemblywoman Julia Brownley seem to feel there are more pressing issues. Such as proclaiming a month-long celebration starting July 1, 2009 to be “DTS 7.1 Day” (the surround sound audio technology).

Cheap Trick New Album on 8-Track

If you are not familiar with the rock band Cheap Trick, you may recall the theme song to the television sitcom about the Wisconsin teenagers, That 70′s Show. Musicians seem all too prone to file for bankruptcy protection. It must be part of the career hazards that musicians face. Filing for bankruptcy protection does not always mean that the musician has no resources (look at Michael Jackson who had substantial assets, from the Neverland Ranch to an expensive ownership in the Beatles’ songs).
