Bose singer ads made with Bose products

Bose has come up with some new ads for the Bose Sound System which depict famous celebrity singers. What is interesting about them is that the pictures themselves are created from a mosaic of Bose products.

While mosaic art is hardly a new idea, they’ve done a great job and have picked a pretty good cross section of artists: Madonna, Elvis Presley, Jim Morrison and Kishore Kumar of Bollywood fame.  And man, they’ve had a heck of a lot of products!

In a way, they remind me of the amazing art made with audio cassettes that we wrote about a couple of weeks ago.

Check them out – you can click on any picture to see a larger version.

Come to think of it, the ads also remind me of the really creative Jay-Z video of “Brooklyn go hard” that was done with various typefaces of the word “Brooklyn”.  What was amazing about it is that Evan Roth, the artist, even released the source code for the software that he used to create it.

Here’s the video:

It should be “Kishore Kumar” and not “Kirshore Kumar”.
