I was looking at some shoes today and saw this travesty (pictured below)
Now, Kurt Cobain wasn’t necessarily fond of the media to put it lightly. Some even speculated that his distaste for the media’s attention was one of the [many] reasons for his tragic end. Courtney Love is behind these ridiculous shoes and has obviously decided to cash in on Kurt in a most distasteful way. Of course, this isn’t the first time.
Converse Sneakers
For a cool 59.99 you can pick up these cheaply made converse sneakers that boast a wonderfully cliched classic distressed vibe !
Here’s the write-up:

Everyone involved with these sneakers should be ashamed of themselves. Of course this is nothing new.
I guess if you can’t afford the $59.99 for the sneakers, you could always pick this up for $20:
…give it to your kids, it’ll help them learn how to smoke fashionably.
At least these aren’t as hideous as the white Chuck Converse shoes with Cobain’s handwriting printed nilly-willy all over the shoes. I could save myself about fifty bucks by drawing on my own canvas shoes with a Sharpie. I’ll stick to the man’s music instead. Which reminds me!
Here’s some kickarse previously-unreleased Nirvana material that was too good to make it onto the sh_tt_ With the Lights Out boxset:
