I have met just a few virtuosos in my interactions with musicians, and I have met even fewer who have been able to take their playing in an entirely new and creative direction.
These two videos are simply incredible. They are of musicians who have managed to come up with methods of beatboxing while playing their instruments, and we’re not talking about playing the piano here.
The first video is an individual by the name of Yuri Lane. He beatboxes while playing the harmonica:
The second video is by a group called "Project ". Project is Eric Stephenson on Cello, Peter Seymour on Bass and most important to this article, Greg Pattillo on Flute. Greg is beatboxing while playing a medley of various tunes (such as the inspector gadget theme) while playing flute:

that AINT right! its just straight up awesome. of course i caint do that. i can beatbox, but doggone it i caint play the flute too!
