DIY iPod Speakers

Here’s a low budget, DIY speaker project that stays true to the simple, uncomplicated design of the iPod. You can create these speakers for the iPod or your MP3 player using a recipe of 4 paper cups, 2 toothpicks, and your regular old earbuds. I haven’t actually tried these mod paper cup speakers but the idea looks simple enough and might even boost the sound a bit.

Very nice. MacGyver would be proud! If only we could make a synthesizer out of paper cups as well.

WOW! That is great. I had to actually take a few double takes to see it was actually paper cups! If you look at them real face they actually look like real speakers! I don’t know though. I will have to test it out in my office and see if you really get a sound! Wish me luck!

Only sounds good when you play “Dixie” on it though!
